Kenny calls for greater EU transparency

Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny has called for greater transparency in European decision-making.

He also said measures must be taken to ensure more information comes from European Commissioners and from the decisions taken at the European Council of Ministers.

Mr Kenny’s comments came in a speech to the Magill summer school in Co Donegal, where he also called for a ‘yes’ vote in the Nice referendum.
