Armed robber escapes in Dundalk

A man has escaped following a robbery in a Building Society in Co Louth at around 11.30am this morning.

The man, who was armed, burst into the First Active at Crowe Street in Dundalk and jumped over the counter.

He threatened staff and snatched money believed to be around €1000.
