Police in the North are investigating a shooting incident in which one man was hospitalised. The shooting happened in Newry.

Police in the North are investigating a shooting incident in which one man was hospitalised. The shooting happened in Newry.

The man was wounded in the thigh just after 10am in the Harbour road area.

The man’s injuries are thought not to be life threatening. Police do not believe there was a sectarian motivation for the shooting.
