The last Irish Defence Forces Company which will serve in Bosnia has begun its tour of duty.

The group of 56 men and women - who will mainly be involved in military policing - arrived in the country this week, replacing the 11th Company.

The decision to downsize the Irish involvement in the SFOR peacekeeping campaign is being mirrored by other forces, who are also reducing their presence.
