A man and a teenager are recovering after two separate punishment shootings in Northern Ireland.

A man was taken to hospital at 2am today from a residential area of Bangor in Co Down suffering from gunshot wounds to the leg.

Earlier a 15-year-old boy was shot in the leg in Belfast. He was attacked at the rear of Mervue Street, in the North Queen Street area of Belfast.
