Minister for Finance warns public over pay expectations

The Minister for Finance, Charlie McCreevy, is warning that public expectations on pay and services must be tempered.

The Minister was speaking as he headed into the plenary session of the programme for competitiveness and work with social partners. He also rejected reports that a cabinet meeting was taking place tomorrow to agree extra cutbacks.
