Family escapes injury in Portadown gun attack

A family, including three young children, have escaped injury after a gun attack at their Portadown home overnight.

A car pulled up outside the house on Charles Street at 12.40am and the occupant fired a number of shots.

A man, his wife and three children were in the house at the time but were not injured.

Two of the shots entered the bedroom where an 18-year-old woman was sleeping.
