Divers rescued off Dublin coast

Two divers who were in difficulties off Dublin bay have been rescued.

Two divers who were in difficulties off Dublin bay have been rescued.

They had originally been reported missing off Lambay island at around 4pm this afternoon.

A coastguard helicopter, an inshore lifeboat from Skerries and an offshore lifeboat from Howth were all involved in the search.

Both the divers have been taken to hospital for precautionary examinations.
