Job cuts expected in the West
More job cuts are expected soon in a services centre in Galway.
Software maker Siebel is expected to cut between 30 and 40 jobs in Ireland, or around 25% of its workforce.
The firm's Irish facility, located in the IDA's Dangan Business Park currently employs around 140 people.
The company's Galway centre is part of the Siebel technical services group and provides engineering and development services.
The cuts are part of 1,200 global job losses from Siebel’s 6,000 strong workforce.
