Huge crowd attends funeral of Lifford girl

The 14-year-old girl who died in a field in Donegal last Monday has been laid to rest this morning.

The funeral took place at St. Patricks Church, Murlog, with a crowd of more than 1,000 people in attendance.

Geraldine Chambers was found dead in a field clutching her teenage friend just yards from her home near Lifford. Pills and alcohol were found at the scene.

Her teenage friend remains in critical condition in hospital this morning.
