Senate vote count continues

Two full panels remain to be filled in the race for seats in the Senate election.

The counting of votes for the Industrial and Commercial panel gets underway today when nine seats are being contested.

Later today votes for 38 candidates will be counted.

One or two political careers could come to an end with outgoing Helen Keogh and Mary Jackman battling it out for seats, while other candidates include Derek McDowell of Labour, Deidre Cloone of Fine Gael and former Minister of State, Tom Moffat of Fianna Fail.
