Police in the North are tonight investigating a spate of paramilitary-style shootings.

Four men were targeted in three separate incidents within minutes of each other in east Belfast.

The shootings took place in Imperial Street, My Lady’s Road and the nearby Humber Court.

The victims have been taken to hospital. However, a police spokesman said none of their injuries is believed to be life-threatening.
