Grocers criticise Cork shopping centre plan

A Bord Pleanala decision to sanction a major regional shopping centre in Cork has been described as “regrettable” by independent retail grocers.

The grocers are represented by RGDATA who said the new shopping centre at Mahon “will have a negative impact on the vibrancy and vitality of Cork city and surrounding towns”.
