Baby died 'from natural causes'

Gardaí in Dublin have revealed that the newborn baby girl whose body was found on rocks near Sandymount beach yesterday died from natural causes.

Following a post mortem, Gardaí said they are not treating the death as suspicious.

Officers have repeated calls for the baby's mother to come forward. The body was found by a passer-by wrapped in a towel inside a hold-all near Sean Moore Park in Ringsend at around 4pm yesterday.
