The results of a post mortem examination on the body of a baby found in Dublin yesterday will be released later this morning.

The results of a post mortem examination on the body of a baby found in Dublin yesterday will be released later this morning.

The body of the newborn baby girl was found at around 4pm in Sean Moore Park at Ringsend .

A preliminary examination carried out at the scene by the Deputy State Pathologist, Marie Cassidy, ruled out the involvement of violence.

Gardai are appealing for the mother or anyone with information to come forward saying they will be treated with sensibility.
