The body of a newborn baby girl has been found in a Dublin city park.

The body of a newborn baby girl has been found in a Dublin city park.

The body was found wrapped in a towel in a holdall by a passer-by in Sean Moore Park in Ringsend in Dublin.

The scene has been preserved for technical examination and Deputy State Pathologist Marie Cassidy is at the scene.
