Controlled explosion hoax in North

Police in the North have revealed that the suspicious vehicle upon which controlled explosions were carried out last night, was an elaborate hoax.

The vehicle was identified as suspect, by locals in the Glenville area of Newtonards, early yesterday evening.

Members of the PSNI then evacuated the locality in order to carry out the explosions.
