FG strongly criticises Health Minister over 'sneaky' hikes

The Minister for Health is coming under fire for increasing the threshold of the drug payment scheme by 22%. Michael Martin also increased the cost of attending an accident and emergency ward of a hospital by more than €8.

Fine Gael Spokesperson, Olivia Mitchell says the increase was sneakily announced by the Minister on a Friday, and will hurt those most vulnerable in our society.
