Man stabbed in Offaly robbery

A man has been stabbed during a robbery in Co Offaly.

The victim was making a delivery to Banagher Post Office when he was set upon by two raiders.

The pair made off with a sum of cash, believed to be less than €100,000.

The injured man is being treated at Tullamore General Hospital.
