Labour seeks extra Dail debates next week

The Labour Party has called on the Government to recall the Dail on two occasions next week to debate issues of national importance.

TDs will be recalled from their summer recess on Thursday to discuss the Ansbacher report, but Labour wants another emergency sitting on Wednesday to discuss the sale of Irish football TV rights to Sky Sports and the Government’s cancellation of an order for new helicopters.
