Belfast hit and run could be murder

A hit and run in Belfast last night is being treated as attempted murder by police.

A man is in hospital after he was struck by a black Seat Toledo.

The car drove onto the footpath and hit him on North Queen street.

The man received serious head injuries from the hit.

The car then fled the scene and was found a short time later burnt out in the New Lodge area.

The victim is in serious condition.
