Trimble warns Blair about last chance
The North's first minister has said that this week will be the British Prime Minister's last chance to attempt to rectify the peace process. Speaking on television, Mr Trimble said that there was an immediate job to be done to control the violence that is occurring on peacelines.
Mr Trimble also blamed the latest outbreaks of violence on republicans. His warning to Tony Blair comes ahead of Gerry Adams' meeting with the Taoiseach tomorrow. Mr Trimble said that this summer was the last chance before a gloomy autumn ahead.
