Pedestrian killed in Donegal

One man has been killed and another injured after a road traffic accident.

The accident happened in Donegal. The two pedestrians were hit by a car as they were walking along a road in Carrigans, near Lifford. They were struck by the vehicle at 2.55 this morning.

The man killed in the incident is said to be a foreign national. His body has been taken to the morgue at Letterkenny general hospital. It is believed that the injured man is in a stable condition.
