Ansbacher report publication delayed
The publication of the much-awaited report into alleged tax evasion through the Ansbacher Bank has been delayed until Thursday or Friday due to logistical difficulties.
The report, which is believed to name 200 people and businesses suspected of holding Anbsbacher accounts, was due to be made public on Tuesday.
However, Paul Appleby, the director of corporate enforcement, has asked the High Court for more time to prepare the report for publication.
The report is 10,000 pages long, is in 15 volumes, weighs 25 kilograms and stands one metre high.
