Church to announce abuse audit

The Catholic Church in Ireland is expected to announce the terms of reference in its proposed audit on child sexual abuse in Dublin today.

The audit was promised by bishops following the publication of recent allegations of child sexual abuse, against members of the clergy stretching back decades.
