IMPACT has asked Aer Lingus to reconsider its plans to run down winter services between Shannon Airport and the US.

The union said proposals to drop the Shannon feeder for its Los Angeles service and start its Shannon to New York service from Dublin could jeopardise jobs among the cabin crew, catering and cleaning sectors.
