Anti-debt campaigners to march on Canadian embassy
Anti world debt campaigners will march on the Canadian embassy in Dublin today to highlight the lack of action on the issue, in advance of this weeks G8 summit.
The summit begins on Wednesday in the Rocky Mountains in Canada.
Members of the "debt and development coalition Ireland", are calling for debts which cripple vulnerable countries to be wiped out.
Spokesperson Pat Raleigh says the march is designed to refocus people’s minds on the world’s debt burden.
