Murder inquiry launched in Antrim

A murder inquiry is underway in Co Antrim after the murder of man in his early 40s.

The murder happened in Hawthornden Way, Ballyclare. Co Antrim. Police launched the investigation after the man was found dead on grassland.

Police say that the man was not shot and believe that there was no sectarian motive for the killing.

One man has been arrested in relation to the killing.

Police say that a confrontation took place at a house in the nearby Mossfield area of the town. They believe that the victim died after a domestic dispute.
