NI Ombudsman may investigate Finucane murder
Denis Bradley, the deputy chairman of the North’s policing board, has said that Ombudsman Nuala O’Loan may be asked to investigate official collusion in the murder of Belfast solicitor Pat Finucane.
His comments follow a BBC documentary last night which claimed the murder was instigated by the RUC and carried out with the help of British military intelligence.
Mr Bradley described the revelations as "chilling" and said Ms O’Loan may have to investigate the matter once the Stevens inquiry into the 1989 killing has presented its report.
