Ahern: Dublin and London must renew drive for peace

The Irish and British governments must give renewed momentum to the Good Friday Agreement, Taoiseach Bertie Ahern said today.

Last week Mr Ahern and Britain's Prime Minister Tony Blair announced that they would hold urgent talks with Northern Ireland’s pro-Agreement parties to rescue the peace process.
