FG announce team for EU forum

Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny has named a team of seven delegates who will participate in next week's session of the Forum on Europe.

Mr Kenny is keen to participate in what former Fine Gael leader Michael Noonan labelled "a talking shop".

Deputy Kenny will lead the team and will be joined by other party heavyweights such as Gay Mitchell, Jim O’Keeffe and John Bruton.

The delegation will also consist of three members who lost their seats in the last general election - Alan Dukes, Nora Owen and Charlie Flanagan.
