College names barrister in harassment probe

The trustees of Maynooth College have named the senior barrister who will investigate claims of sexual harassment by the seminar’s former vice president.

Denis McCullough will conduct the inquiry into whether complaints against Monsignor Michael Ledwith were ignored.

Maynooth College repeated its call for anyone with information to fully co-operate with the inquiry.

A statement is expected within days from Monsignor Ledwith who is now a lecturer with a new age movement in Washington.
