Labour blast Govt over Ringsend repair delay

The Labour Party has accused the Government of negligence in the recently flooded Dublin suburb of Ringsend, by delaying funding ear marked to repair the banks of the Dodder.

A report submitted to Dublin City Council by consultant engineers stated that the banks of the River Dodder are unstable and in danger of imminent collapse as a result of the flooding in the first months of the year.
