IFA call for help for vegetable growers

The Irish Farmers Association says that the poor weather conditions over the past few weeks could cost many farmers thousands of euro with an outbreak of potato blight already being reported in the south of the country.

The IFA has warned that vegetable growers could be facing bankruptcy because they have not been able to spray their crops in the wet conditions.
