Irish unemployment rise highest in euro-zone

Ireland has recorded the highest relative increase in unemployment throughout the 12-nation euro-zone, according to figures released by the EU.

A survey for Eurostat showed that Ireland’s unemployment rate rose from 3.7% to 4.4% in the past year.
