Rioting started up in Belfast overnight again. Groups of youths were involved in disturbances in East Belfast when police were called.

Rioting started up in Belfast overnight again. Groups of youths were involved in disturbances in East Belfast when police were called.

A crossbow was discovered by the police during follow up searches. It is reported that riots continued throughout the night, especially in the Mountpottinger area.

Police confronted the violent youths at Kenilworth Place. Some of them were hurling bottles, bricks and petrol bombs. None of the rioters or police were injured in the disturbances.
