The majority of Irish tourists risk contracting diseases abroad because they don’t get vaccinated, according to the Irish Travel Medicines Board.

The organisation said 63% of Irish people travelling to risky destinations fail to get vaccinated for Hepatitis B, while 24% don’t know what travel-related diseases they have been vaccinated against.
