NPC president steps down

Marie Damaswamy has resigned as president of the National Parents Council’s post-primary organisation with immediate effect.

In a statement issued today, the council said Ms Damaswamy stood down for family reasons.

Margaret Horgan will assume the duties of president until the group’s next AGM.
