O Caoláin selected as SF group leader

Sinn Fein has selected Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin as their parliamentary party's group leader in the new Dail.

The Cavan-Monaghan TD will lead the five newly elected party members in trying to come to working arrangements with other opposition parties like the Greens and some Independents.

Dublin South Central Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh has been appointed as Party Whip.

Speaking after a meeting of their Ard Comhairle in Dublin today, Deputy O' Caolain said they’d provide a strong opposition.
