Harney to collect on bet of a lifetime

As her party prepares for talks on the formation of the next Government, Progressive Democrat leader Mary Harney will today collect her winnings from a shrewd election wager.

An Tanaiste bet €20 that the PDs would win eight seats in Friday's general election at odds of 12-1.
