FG pair face off in Limerick recount

Fine Gael’s Dan Neville will face off with party colleague Michael Finucane, after requesting a recount after losing by one vote in Limerick West.

The recount begins at 9am today.

In Cork south-central, Fianna Fail’s John Dennehy is challenging the result after independent disabilities campaigner Kathy Sinnott was declared winner of the fifth seat by just three votes.

The recount begins at 2pm today.
