Healy-Rae elected after recount

Jackie Healy-Rae has been confirmed elected in Kerry South.

A recount was ordered when 133 votes separated the Independent candidate and Fianna Fail’s Tom Fleming.

The colourful Mr Healy-Rae joins Fianna Fail Justice Minister John O’Donoghue and Breda Moynihan-Cronin, representing Kerry South.
