Fianna Fail's Dick Roche has been elected with almost 17% of first preference votes in the five-seater Wicklow constituency.

Fianna Fail's Dick Roche has been elected with almost 17% of first preference votes in the five-seater Wicklow constituency.

Minister of State at the Department of Public Enterprise in the last Dail, Joe Jacob, received just over 14% of first preferences.

In Dublin South-East, the PDs Michael McDowell looks set to secure a seat. He has polled almost 19% of first preferences.

Labour leader Ruairi Quinn is struggling, with just over 12% of first preferences.
