Gardaí question men in CIRA probe
Gardaí in Limerick are continuing to question five men in connection with a probe into the continuity IRA.
Six men were arrested yesterday, and one has since been released without charge.
The men were arrested during a garda raid in the Glenworth Hotel in Limerick yesterday.
Three are believed to be from Dublin, and the other three from the Limerick area.
The six men were detained at Henry Street and Mayorstone Garda Stations, where they faced questions in relation to the dissident republican group, the Continuity IRA.
One man was released overnight without charge, and the remaining five must either be freed or charged in the next two and a half days.
The arrests come as part of a nationwide garda operation aimed at stamping out splinter republican group activities.
