Murder probe launched in Ballsbridge

A murder inquiry is under way following the death of a woman in Dublin.

The woman, in her mid 20s died from an injury to her neck, caused by a blunt instrument or knife.

Her body was found in a disused house, on Pembroke Road in Ballsbridge.

The woman is believed to be a native of Co Galway.

The house was known to have been used by homeless people.
