Murder inquiry launched in Dublin
Gardai have launched a murder Inquiry following the discovery of the body of a woman in South Dublin.
The woman, in her mid twenties, was found in a house in Ballsbridge shortly after 4pm today.
The Assistant State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy, has carried out a preliminary examination and Gardai have confirmed it is now being treated as murder.
It is thought the body had some injuries to her neck. Garda forensic experts are examining the scene.
A separate area of Shrubbery across Pembroke Road has also been sealed off as part of the investigation.
