Rail services to Drogheda, Maynooth and Rosslare have been disrupted after a crane hit a railway bridge in Dublin this morning.

Rail services to Drogheda, Maynooth and Rosslare have been disrupted after a crane hit a railway bridge in Dublin this morning.

The incident happened at about 8am at Westland Row.

Dart services have also been affected by the collision.

Rail officials are investigating the scene and services are not expected to continue until after the investigation is complete.

It is hoped services will return to normal within the hour.
