Politicians from Northern Ireland should be allowed to take part in parliamentary debates in the Dáil, Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams said today.

With party sources hopeful that a deal can be struck enabling Northern Ireland politicians to take part in Dáil debates before the end of the year, Mr Adams said he would like to see the party’s four Westminster MPs join colleagues on the Sinn Féin benches.
