INO threatens strike action

The Irish Nurses Organisation has threatened to begin a nationwide strike later this year if adequate pay increases for nurses are not delivered.

The organisation is expected to tell a conference in Dublin today that its members are not prepared to wait indefinitely for their entitlements under the proposed 'benchmarking' process.
