Labour accuses Govt of schools 'cover-up'

The Labour Party has accused the Government of covering up the fact that hundreds of secondary schools are in need of renovation.

The party’s education spokesperson, Roisín Shortall, said Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has failed to honour a Dáil promise to publish a list of sub-standard school buildings.
